Google doesn't even offer Web hosting formally, even they have already launched Page Creator.
BUt here have some evidences show that Google' next big step is aiming to web hosting.
1. Google has become an accredited domain name registrar (ICANN-approved).
2. Web hosting requires tons of servers, data centers, and skilled technical support staff. All these Google already have.
3. A trusted brand which that the consumers will only do business with.
